Pro-Choice Lobby Day 2010!

Pro-Choice Lobby Day 2010 was a great success!  With 143 registered for the event and between 135 and 140 people in attendance we had a great day supporting comprehensive sex ed and standing with Minnesota’s Pro-Choice community!

Sex Education Bills introduced

 

This year Minnesota has seen increases in HIV and STI rates  following two years of increasing adolescent pregnancy rates.  Young people need access to developmentally appropriate, medically accurate information now.  

Responsible sex ed bills were introduced (HF2986/SF2645) this week!  Stay tuned for more details as the session progresses. And help us keep the momentum going!
