NURSE UNSEEN Exclusive Film Screening

  • 3800 42nd Avenue South Minneapolis, MN, 55406 United States (map)

Calling All Advocates and Allies! Did you know that the Philippines is the leading exporter of professional nurses in the world? Filipino nurses represent 4% of the U.S. registered nursing workforce, yet during the COVID-19 pandemic, they tragically suffered disproportionately high death rates.

NURSE UNSEEN is a powerful documentary uncovering the history, humanity, and sacrifices of Filipino nurses on the frontlines during the pandemic. The film also shines a light on the rising tide of anti-Asian hate they faced, bringing their untold stories to the forefront.

This is a FREE event, no registration required. Following the screening, join us for an exclusive Q&A session with Michele Josue, the film’s director, moderated by Pro-Choice Minnesota's new Executive DIrector, Gina Debogovich.
