Art for a Cause

Since its inception in 2015, Art Salon has become a symbol of unity and support for reproductive freedom. Each year, talented Minnesota artists generously donate their multimedia artworks to our cause. This year, we're excited to once again showcase this incredible talent, emphasizing our mission to build collective power to remove barriers, strengthen protections, and expand access to abortion and all reproductive healthcare in Minnesota.

Calling All Local Artists

Are you a local artist with a passion for supporting reproductive freedom?

If you're interested in donating your artwork for Art Salon VIII, please reach out to us at events@prochoiceminnesota.org.

The submission deadline is Friday, September 8th.

A Timely Mission

In a climate where reproductive freedom is being challenged across the nation, the significance of our mission has never been more evident. It's the steadfast support of our community that keeps us going year after year, empowering us to face these challenges head-on.

Here’s what our supporting artists had to say:

Why did you donate your artwork to Pro-Choice Minnesota?

“I believe in the cause.” - Donna Meyer

“Why did I donate? How could I not? I am a woman. I cannot accept laws telling me what I can do with my body. Or that limits the information and resources I need to manage my body. All women should have access to quality care and the freedom to choose.” - Coco Connolly

“Access to abortion and reproductive healthcare is something I am incredibly passionate about.” - Mary Stonewell

“Thank you for protecting women’s lives.” - Howard Oransky, Director, Katherine E. Nash Gallery Department of Art, University of Minnesota

“Because babes love bodily autonomy.” - Meg Bartlett-Chase
